ell hopefully you have read all about us! Now you want to join? Let us clue you in on a few things more. First of all, our membership is free. Joining us wont cost you a dime. However, there's more that isn't so free. We don't charge anything for membership, but you're going to need some equipment. Also, we aren't looking for people to have a Ph.D. or know anything about anything really. We are all here to learn and try something exciting & new. So don't worry if you don't have any experience. We all have to begin somewhere! Read more to learn about our other requirements below.

  • Number One: Responsible, reliable, and ready for anything kind of person. We are looking for people who can be counted on. ESPI is looking for people who want to participate on a regular basis. You wouldn't join a baseball team during baseball season and not play with your team now would you? Our point exactly. We do not want people on the bench when they should be out in the field.
  • Number Two: Equipment. Heres where the not so free part comes in. You might want some equipment, like a flashlight. Also some cameras, I have a digital one, a regular 35 mm and a 8 mm cam corder. As well as an EMF detector. I don't have much else as of yet but slowly we will build up our stockpile. I have a book that has a list of other things you might also want to include in your kit. If you decide to join us, then we will fill you in. Check out Zerotime's Stuff. He will have what you need, or make sure to check out our link section for his main website, as well as other sites that sell stuff too.
  • Number Three: Some spare time would be nice. This kinda ties in with the reliable people part we mentioned in rule number one. We would like to get out there as much as possible. If you can only do it occasionally, we can work around it and work with you but we can only do this so many times before its gets really annoying and we give up on you. Some of our members are military so we know how it goes. Just let us know in advance when you can and cant go. But DO TRY to make it to outings and meetings.
  • Number Four: We hate to do this but it is a requirement. Please, you must be at least 18 years old. We don't want to have to worry about someone's curfew or someone sneaking out to join us when their parents don't think its cool. Note: Interested Teens check out this site: T I P A If you have kids, we would appreciate you leaving them at home as well. We are going to be doing scary things and do not need to terrorize a child in the process. Not only that, but who is going to watch them when you are busy shooting pictures and taking temperature readings, etc? You don't want to be fussing with a child as well. Q: My child(ren) is/are mature, why cant I bring he/she/them along? Do I really need to answer this? I think not. Use common sense.
  • Number Five: This is for real. We are not out to play in graveyards and sit around and tell ghost stories. Well, sort of. We are very serious about it, but we are wanting to have some fun with it, of course. We need other seriously interested people. You must be willing to take this seriously and maturely. We are not out to be your afternoon thrill. You get what Im saying?
  • Number Six: Going Dutch. We ask that you pay for your own supplies. Reason being, we aren't rich. That includes gas, equipment, food, and whatnots. From time to time you will have to get stuff. Such as film, we will not pay for that, nor developing. We will be busy paying for our own. Its easier this way. This makes it an affordable hobby.
  • Number Seven: All members will be asked to purchase thier own ESPI t-shits as soon as it is possible for them to do so. The shirts are located in our online store. Members will get a special discount.
  • Number Eight: We ask that you provide your own vehicle. Although, we do have a truck with an open bed in the back. However, Im not even sure if you can legally ride back there. But we can try to work out something. It really is important to have one of your own, in case you live semi far away, or you have to leave earlier than was planned etc.
  • Number Nine: Above all, you should Be Ready For Anything. Nothing is predictable when it comes to the paranormal, or otherwise they might call it all-anormal heh. Sometimes something intriguing might happen, and other times you get nothing. Keeping an open mind is helpful too.
